Key Facts
• China is re-emerging as a rival for the money of foreign investors.
• China's discounted valuations compared to India's highest valuations could work against India and lessen the amount of capital inflows.
The Story
Even if there has been some relief from pressure on the rupee due to falling oil and commodities prices and a less hawkish Fed, the biggest weekly increase in India's foreign exchange reserves may be an exception. Future growth rates may not be as rapid.
In the week ending November 11, the nation's foreign exchange reserves increased by a record $14.7 billion to $544.72 billion. They are still down from $630 billion at the start of this year as the RBI liquidated some of the reserves to prevent a significant decline in the value of the rupee this year.

In fact, Country Delight (CD), which delivers dairy, fruits, and veggies to customers' doorsteps, has developed into India's top direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand for fresh food staples. Fresh deliveries in 24-36 hours are guaranteed by the company's business strategy, which is made possible by a fully integrated, just-in-time supply chain model. "With a focus on freshness, Country Delight's quality-first DNA approach allows for a noticeable difference in product quality. A supply system spanning 11 Indian states allows CD to make over 8 million deliveries each month across 15 cities using fresh milk as the hook. Country Delight's size has multiplied by ten over the past three years, and it now generates almost Rs 900 crore in annual sales revenue "According to Chakradhar Gade, Country Delight's CEO and co-founder, BW Businessworld.
On an operating revenue basis, CD anticipates ending FY22 with operating revenues of over Rs 600 crore, or nearly twice as much as they did the year before. Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) is the amount of predictable revenue generated in a year. Operating revenue is the total of a company's profit after deducting its regular, recurring costs and expenses.
A completely integrated, just-in-time supply chain and a subscription-based business model enable the organization to guarantee new deliveries in 24-36 hours. Consumers can purchase VIP memberships at discounted rates, and they can be renewed periodically.

Key Facts:
India's overall passenger vehicle market is estimated at over 30 lakh units
Maruti Suzuki had a market share of 51.22 percent in 2018-19 and 51.03 percent in 2019-20
The Story:
Maruti Suzuki expects a substantial increase in its market share in the sports utility vehicle (SUV) segment this fiscal year, with the new Brezza and Grand Vitara receiving a robust response, according to a senior company official. The auto major also plans to introduce more SUV models in the remainder of the financial year.
"Strengthening the SUV segment is an important part of our strategy to regain the overall market share we lost due to non-presence in the SUV segment," Srivastava said. MSI, which did not have a credible presence in the mid-size segment, ended the last fiscal with a market share of 10.9 percent in the SUV space. The company's overall market share in the passenger vehicle space, which stood at 51 percent in FY2019, has come down to 41 percent in the September quarter of this fiscal.
Srivastava noted that Brezza is already a market leader in the compact SUV segment, and Grand Vitara is also expected to do well in the mid-sized SUV space. The sports utility vehicle space in the country is expected to touch 45 percent of the overall passenger vehicle market by the end of this fiscal.

The Story
Many Twitter users are rushing to retrieve their data as the hashtag "RIPTwitter" is trending. A week after Mr. Musk completed his acquisition of the platform, he fired half of the crew, and since then, many more workers have decided to quit after receiving an email from Mr. Musk demanding "hardcore" working conditions and excessive hours from his remaining staff. Many of those leaving are engineers, developers, and coders, the folks who work on the core components of what makes Twitter run, according to their Twitter biographies. Never one to pass on a trend, Twitter's new CEO Elon Musk posted a parody depicting a tombstone bearing the Twitter logo. Old vs New perhaps?

The StoryThe Talon-A separation test vehicle's air-launched prototype, TA-0, was successfully flown by Roc, the largest aircraft in the world and a creation of Stratolaunch. The flight travelled across the Mojave Desert for five hours and six minutes, climbing to a height of 23,000 feet. Measurement of the aerodynamic loads on the Talon-A vehicle was the primary goal of the flight. The test included a 28-foot-long Talon prototype vehicle mounted to a pylon in the middle of the 385-foot-wide wings of the aircraft. Unknown to the uninitiated, Talon-A vehicles are reusable, Mach 5-capable, hypersonic test aircraft that can carry customized payloads. The business has already started producing the TA-2 and TA-3, the first totally reusable hypersonic test vehicles. Unknown to the general public, Talon-A vehicles are reusable, hypersonic test aircraft capable of Mach 5 that can transport customized payloads. The first fully reusable hypersonic test vehicles, the TA-2 and TA-3, are already being manufactured by the company. The agreement between Stratolaunch and the Pentagon for hypersonic test flight launches has been completed thanks to the success of this test. It had agreed to work with the business to test out new hypersonic aircraft services sometime last year. The plane, which was initially intended to carry payloads into space, is now concentrating on building hypersonic planes. The business intends to carry out many captive carry flights in the near future, including a TA-0 vehicle separation test over the Pacific Ocean in late 2022. If everything goes according to plan, the corporation will test Talon-A TA-1, its first hypersonic vehicle, in 2023.
